Peanut Butter Brownies
This is my riff on Baker's One Bowl Brownies.
Ingredients:
- 1 4 Oz Package Baker's Unsweetetened Chocolate
- 3/4 cup Butter
- 2-3/4 cup Sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1-1/2 cup Flour
- 3/4 cup Peanut Butter
- 1/2 cup Reese's Peanut Butter Chips
- Preheat Oven to 350* F
- Spray cooking spray with flour in 13x9 glass baking dish: Cover bottom, sides, and rim
- Melt Chocolate and Butter in Microwave, about 90 seconds. I cut the butter into tablespoon chunks and smash the chocolate into little pieces.
- Stir until Chocolate and Butter are well blended
- Add Eggs and Vanilla and Incorporate
- Add Sugar and stir in well
- Stir in Peanut Butter Chips
- Mix in Flour and Make sure it is incorporated, it will be a little thicker than you're probably used to
- Using Spatula pour into prepared pan and spread into even layer
- I use a dough portioner, the little ice cream scooper looking guy, to place balls of peanut butter fairly evenly over the top of the brownies. Then I use the spatula and smear it around a bit to get a swirly thing going
- Bake for about 30 minutes. I set a timer for 15 and spin it and then keep setting 5-10 minute timers until the center has firmed up
- Let cool for about 30 minutes and enjoy. I like to make brownie sundaes with brownie, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and cherry
